The (Percolater) (Broccoli Tree) Pocket Park was dedicated on October 31, 2007 at 8:00PM. The park was nearly at capacity with over a dozen citizens in attendance. A moment of silence was lead by Sister Leslie followed by comments from a recovering politician about the importance of such features and spaces in our city. Ranger Heidi wielded the scissors for the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
The Hook Line and Sinker tour bus was not available due to scheduling conflicts. The ever-ready Ranger Heidi took control of the situation and lead a walking tour of the sites, including: rock climbing wall, tunnels of fate & luck, a water feature, lover's leap, and manger warming station with fire pit. The tour concluded at the Pocket Park Gift Shop. Gifts and refreshments were generously donated by KT, the Gift Shoppe Freesale Manager.
